My Background & Teaching Philosophy
I’m a native British English teacher and bilingual English–French educator, with 20 years’ experience teaching adults and young adults in France (Martinique and La Réunion) and the UK.
I first moved to France in my early twenties with limited French, so I understand first-hand the challenges of learning another language and the barriers that can arise along the way. That experience has strongly shaped my teaching approach.
Today, my work is calm, structured, and practical, with a clear focus on real communication rather than theory alone.
I specialise in professional English, real-life fluency, and confidence-building, and I also support English-speaking relocators with practical French for daily life in France.
